The top coat of color is complete! Next? I will tacke his head, hands and feet with some color and blush! Then, all that is really left to do will be to add a water-based stain to "soften" the colors and put him all together (i.e. wire his arms, attach his wings, etc)
I'm a huge fan of coffee-stained... well, just about anything!
His paper collar and these hang tags have become my "signature"
when it comes to folk art creations!
It's been fun watching him develop step by step.
ReplyDeleteI think I like this angel the best out of all the angels you have created. I left a comment on 'the trodden path'. I really like his dark face and left a comment about that. Sometimes dolls tell their own stories and I try to stop at the point when they say to me 'I'm finished'...
ReplyDeleteGood luck on whatever you choose to do to finish him.
A totally awesome piece.
Cheers!

P.S.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to sell this one? Please let me know!
Thank you!

Daryl, Love the Angel. I would love him Guarding me! I need a guard! Love old roots. They take you to magical safe places and run very, very deep.
