A Bit of a Slump!

Like these little guys who are sitting on the shelf...
I'd say I've been in a bit of a slump; distracted.
In these moments I am reminded that,
much like them...
I too am a work-in-progress!  Daryle

  1. Hello Daryle and Katie...
Your flowers are just gorgeous...love the way you presented them in the post.
Thank-you so much for your kind words...I am grateful for your friendship.
It has been very slow out there...and all of the weather related problems aren't helping. It's a tough go for so many right now...here is hoping things get better in every way soon.

    Wishing you both much happiness.
    Hugs, Nancy

  2. I like to think of those down times as sitting in the recharger...you come back with more ideas, ready to go. We just can't spend creative energy alllll the time, we have to recharge!

And isn't it great to have odd half finished little characters all sitting around keeping us company?

  3. I love the faces of your little people in the stages of becoming. I think we all have times when we seem to be in neutral, perhaps we are recharging as JDonnell says. It's a great way to put it, and I'll remember that when I feel in a bit of a slump.
All the best to you and Katie. Keep doing that wonderful work you do.....once you're recharged, that is :>)

  4. Well...
Here it is, almost the middle of the year...so much to do with so little time. But the best part is...God's children are everywhere to cheer each other up. So hang in there! We're all in the same boat together...we're just a few more days closer to heaven. The best laid plans of mice and men...and I don't know how the rest goes. But I know God is watching over us all.
    Cheers!

I was just thinking of you both...hope you are doing well. Can't wait to see up coming photos of what you are creating. Sounds charming!
I feel for everyone in Joplin, Missouri...makes me thankful for no worries...well...some worries, but not bad ones like that!
Have a lovely rest of the day,
