"Verus North"... We were never alone!

I share again, the lyrics from
Twila Paris' song: "True North."
In part; the inspiration for "Verus North"

There’s a strong steady light
that is guiding us home,
In the lingering night
we were never alone...
We need an absolute compass
now more than ever before...
True North

"For we walk by faith... not by sight!"
I hope you are inspired and encouraged
by this bit of whimsy and art!

  1. I love this piece. I also love they way you tease us with glimpses of your progress in your pieces.

  2. Oh My! What a beauty..I love The "feel" of her. She reminds me of a girl standing on the shore in the winter waiting......for something and her face is a little wind burned. Amazing.

  3. Love the compas too, and now I see the green stockings. so sweet.. did you crackle yet?

  4. I just love her guys, she is so noble looking and the little sweater is too perfect, wonderful work!

I love this piece and the poem with it. You are amazingly gifted. Thank you so much for sharing.

  6. She is lovely! And the poem is perfect for her.
I love the patina she has, and the knitted clothes and sweet scarf.
Are you on ADO at the mo, and do you have dolls for sale?

  7. Here I am again...
I hadn't listened to your blog music, and just listened to Josh Groban, and Chris Rice. I needed that...thanks for the uplifting music blog. Those are actually two of my most favorite gospel songs.
