Shadows...

It is never the news you would choose to hear...
as Katie found out just after Thanksgiving
that she has a non-aggressive form of uterine cancer.
We remain hopeful, as her doctor has scheduled
surgery the day after Christmas.
Pray with us... for healing and wellness!
Daryle & Katie

  3. As you say in your profile, "Our faith, our family and our friends inspire and encourage us along this journey. We know that we are richly blessed!". Know that your family and friends are all praying for you both in this next journey.

  6. I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor and was terribly frightened by what the side effects of treatment would be. Just want to let you know that amazing advances have been made in all forms of treatment and my worst side effect from chemo, for example, was a craving for chocolate that I had not had before! It is horribly scary news, but I hope this eases your mind a bit. Sending heartfelt thoughts of healing your way.

  8. Hello Katie and Daryle
Time goes by sometimes and I am just now visiting your blog for the month of December. Katie, dear, you will be in my prayers as was Daryle this past year. Healing can be a reality and may you find the right doctors and caregivers to help you on the road to wellness and good health.
    much love and healing prayers
