After the (Ice) Storm...

We were concerned, here in South Jersey,
following the recent ice storm that the peach crop would fail.
But, like the locals... the peach stock is hardy!
Look at those blossoms (no enhanced color).

  1. Wow, I would just love a peach tree or two then I could make fresh peach cobbler.

  2. What a wonderful sight! I'm always so thankful when the fruit trees survive the winter weather. We live in apple country and they can take a bit of cold -- but not the extremes. Looks like you're going to be able to make a lot of peach pies *smile*l

    1. I suspect... if they do a "happy dance"... this season will inspire a new step or two (wink!)
