One of my favorite Robert Frost quotes:
"Don't ever take a fence down, until you know why it was put up."
These photos of our flower garden, were just now taken
along our neighbor's split-rail fence...
Now I understand why the fence shouldn't come down:
We share with this dear neighbor our faith, our flowers,
and...
her fence provides the perfect photo-shoot background!
We've been very slack here...on posting.
Thank you for stopping by!
Beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy our gardens so... though this time of the year (mid-July) we tend to "dry-up" a bit here in South Jersey!
DeleteSplit rail fences are some of the most beautiful, and are indeed a perfect backdrop!
ReplyDeleteI agree... it's only taken me eleven years to begin to intentionally incorporate our neighbor's split-rail in my pics... Ha!
DeleteI love that quote! This year we've had so much rain that now, in June everything is blooming. Its a riot of color out there -- too pretty to spend the time inside.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy... and be renewed!
DeleteIt certainly is a very beautiful garden! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're kind... it is kinda nice!
