Father Christmas' face is made using the image from
a vintage die cut card that I then manipulated using
a free photo website. His handsome beard is raw wool roving.
I transferred the photo to Osnaburg fabric, coffee stained everything in sight...
and then sewed and stuffed it.
He carries an image of a crow, as well as a bag of sticks.
He stands about 22 inches high... on a wooden, checker-board base.
He is embellished with some hand-sewn tags, a grapevine star
and several hang tags,
It's all about the details...
Father Christmas (and his twin brother) can be found at the Artful Giving Show
at the Riverfront Renaissance Gallery in Millville, beginning November 16th!
Thank you for stopping by! Blessings...Daryle
