Hello, I'm so glad I stopped by to visit today. I love these cage angels. I'm working on another doll. I love creating these characters. Thanks for the inspiration.
Linda... I'M so glad that YOU stopped by! I was at your blog just the other day and saw the doll in the works; "becoming" as I like to refer to it. Have fun!
Daryle, I left some comments for you on the Doll Maker page sometime ago. Since you didn't respond I was wondering if you no longer use that site? I want to thank you once again for teaching the class on how to make dolls. I love doing this.
Katie and I have been in a bit of "transition" the past several months (all good!)... and I've neglected my blogging! I feel as though I'm back on my feet and hope to share something new. Thank you for stopping by.
I hope to add of pic later today; if I get some studio time in. I went with the "Grotto" blue, black, and some dry-brushed off-white... very fun! (if I have to say so myself!)
I've had several small birdcages that I've hung on to for years, and still have every intention of using. ;~) Aren't dolls funny when they're waiting on one part to dry so they can have the other part? These guys look like they're biting their lower lip in anxiety or something...hope they get the rest of their faces soon!

DeleteI love the idea of the checkered wings -- whimsy is always welcome!

ReplyDeleteHa! Yes...Yes they do look a bit pensive, as though they're biting the lower lip. Faces are on order (wink!)
