A "Wort" By Any Other Name... is Still a Wort!

I almost missed the blossoms on my St. John's Wort
the other day, while I was mowing our lawns...
Diminutive, understated, but delightful!

    1. Linda... and much to my delight; this original plant has now reproduced at least six, thriving new plants as well!

  5. Ah...so this is what St. John's Wort looks like. Hypericum, a very note worthy herb. I use homeopathy and have for years. The little white pellets or pills which do really work. In fact, some of them can be dangerous if taken too often, such as Thuja, for tumors, very potent. It's best to go to a known holistic or homeopathic doctor for direct diagnosis. They even have one for Anthrax...Arsenicm Album. Just rattling on here. Bioron Pharmaceuticals sells the pellets in small, round cylindrical vials at Vitamin Shoppe. Yup! You started something here, Daryle...herb lore and its uses.

    1. Teresa... I had an extensive herb garden up in Vermont for years. The truth is; I chose plants more for color, texture, and scent than medicinal properties! But enjoyable just the same! Thank you so much for stopping by! Daryle

  6. this has nothing to do with the flower.. but with your dolls, your home state and your faith.. I just found you today on Janes Spakowsky's Original cloth and clay facebook page! I am so thrilled.. it is like.. "just what the doctor ordered!! First I am from Wisconsin (South Eastern too! Waukesha County!) Also I am a Christian.. !! sigh* I saw your videos but first what grabbed at my heart was the doll on the house.. I couldn't stop looking at it. ! Now I watched one video of Daryle's Great ! I love the exact things you love.. so ironic to have found you two. I just read your info on your blog.. Wonderful! We moved to Florida.. I am not too sure how I am adapting after being raised in the richness of the Midwest. I'm doing my best..:-) I have a blog too, since 09, but after google changed the format I messed it all up! LOL.. I posted a few pics of dolls I have done on the Facebook page.. also if you wish to visit I am on FB.. I am so happy and thank you for all of your sharing..! xox Darlene Pringle Art

    1. Darlene... thank you for stopping by and sharing some of your story! Some of our family remains in Wisconsin, along with some dear friends.
South Jersey can get quite warm and humid too... but not so much as the deep South. We're still able to enjoy the four-seasons and even play in the snow; on occasion! Warm Wishes... stop by again! Daryle & Katie
