A Cherub is Born... (sort of!)

Chubby Cherub... chubby legs!

I have a stash of wood finials from Lancaster County...

perfect primitive legs!  I applied hand-torn pieces of brown butcher block paper to the entire exterior of the cigar box, using Mod-Podge as a medium.

I cut wings out of 1/8 craft plywood and used canvas duck cloth for the armature of the head (to be covered with paper clay).

Plan: Add a vintage metal key hole and wood door pull to the front;

perhaps wood finials for shoulders too!
